    I dreamed about owning a white body doll for years, but it always seemed so out of reach. At some point, I decided that after I had all of the historicals in my collection, I would like to try to collect the white bodies as well. A few weeks before Christmas in 2023, I spotted a Kirsten on ShopGoodwill that looked vaguely like a white body doll. Days passed, and as her auction picked up no bids, I couldn't help but shake the feeling she was a white body. My mom suggested that we bid $25 and take a chance on her, and we ended up winning with the $25 bid! I instantly regretted it, because the chance that she would be a white body seemed way too small. I eventually nearly forgot about her, but on Christmas morning, she was sitting unwrapped under the tree. She was the first gift my mom let me "open," and I couldn't believe it when I saw that she was, in fact, a white body! Kirsten is a 1989 tinsel hair, which is a super sought-after variant and somewhat hard to find in white body form. She wasn't in great shape when I got her, but she has somehow cleaned up extremely well with a little bit of love. She's definitely one of my most treasured dolls, and I'm so grateful to have her. Kirsten, along with my other white bodies, is a display doll, so she doesn't have a character role in my collection. If she appears on the blog, it will most likely be in a photoshoot; I think she's so photogenic!
