Flea Market Haul

         When I first started looking for anything American Girl in flea markets, I never had much luck. But, I think my luck might be turning around because after my awesome find last month, I had another great haul (at a different flea market) today! I got this whole lot for $40, which I figured wasn’t a bad deal. I got some really fun AGT outfits which I’m really excited about. Let’s see what I got:

       Is that an AGT box I spy? Yes, it is! No, there’s no doll in it, but there are some fun clothes! 

       One of the outfits I got was the go anywhere outfit! This was the American Girl Today meet outfit from 2002–2004. 

     It looks like Min-Ji wants to see what we’re doing. 

        And look at that! Min-Ji brought us a dress form to display my new outfits on! As you can see, the outfit only came with one shoe. It’s in good shape, though. Usually the suede starts to peel after a while. I wonder if I could sell it? Does anyone reading this need a single purple shoe?? 

        Another outfit I got was the Coconut’s best friend outfit! 

       It’s also missing a shoe! I think I see a theme here? 

      The next outfit I got was the beachside outfit! I’ve actually wanted this outfit FOR-EV-ER. Did you guys know that Jly 4 was the model for this outfit in the stock photo? Clearly, Min-Ji is very excited about that! It’s also missing a shoe…

          This is the gardening outfit! I had never seen it before. I actually think it’s really cute! It didn’t come with shoes. 

         I also got the ice dance outfit! Don’t judge, I had a hard time figuring out how to put it on the mannequin. It came with both ice skates, luckily. It’s weird enough to only have one shoe, but can you imagine trying to ice skate with one skate? And I have a hard enough time trying to stand up on two ice skates…

        I didn’t get any more complete-enough outfits. None of these were complete, but I think that as long as I have the top and the bottom to an outfit, it’s complete enough. I did get some more pieces, though. 

 

      This vest is from the 60s hippie costume. 

     I actually can’t figure out what this top is from. It doesn’t have an AG tag, but it feels pretty standard AG quality. Min-Ji thinks that maybe one of our dear readers might be able to help us out? 

       I also got this thing that I’m pretty sure is a doll bracelet. It could maybe be a human earring, too, but I’m pretty sure it’s a doll bracelet. I didn’t do any research to figure out what it’s from… because… I can’t think of a reason…

        And that’s my awesome haul! Just kidding, I lied about there not being a doll. The thing is, I really don’t need anymore dolls and I already have this doll, so I’m going to give her to a friend! She may or may not be featured in a photostory soon, though, so I think I’ll keep her secret until then. See you guys on Monday! Have a great weekend and remember to eat your veggies!
