July ~ A Lyrical Photoshoot

 

Hey guys! Some of you might have seen the title and went "But E, it's not July anymore!" I know it's not July! July is a Hozier song.

Yeah. I know. More Hozier. 

He just came out with a new EP, and I am OBSESSED. I did actually get to hear one of his new songs at his concert before it released, which was AMAZING. I mentioned a while back wanting to do a photoshoot with Nanea, and I just figured that a lyrical photoshoot would be perfect. I chose this song just because it's super pretty and goes well with the vibe of the photos. It's probably my second favorite song on the EP, behind Nobody's Soldier, which I heard live. It was also a complete coincidence, but Nanea's outfit was perfect for a Hozier adjacent post because her dress has bees on it and Hozier keeps bees. That seems like a very random fact, but y'know how it is.
