McKenna

McKenna Violet Brooks

For years, I dreamed about finding American Girl dolls while thrifting, and in 2021, this dream finally came true! I found three AG dolls in my favorite thrift store, and naturally had to come home with Lea Clark and McKenna Brooks. They were $45 each, and while I knew I wanted Lea, I decided to also get McKenna because I was scared I would regret not getting her. She hasn't ended up being one of my most used dolls, but I think she's super photogenic. Really, you can't go wrong with a cute Josefina mold doll.

Lore and Personality

McKenna is 16 and in 11th grade at Piney Grove School of the Arts. She loves to read, although she's dyslexic, and also enjoys writing (mostly dystopian short stories) and making zines for fun. McKenna would love to become a teacher one day, especially an elementary school teacher.
