It Doesn't Feel Like Fall ~ A Photoshoot

Hey guys! I don't know about everyone else, but I hate when the sun starts setting earlier in the day. And with daylight savings time now over, the sun starts to set around 5 PM where I live. Since I've been sad about not having much daylight for photoshoots after school, I decided to do one this weekend! I figured, if I didn't know what to post, why not post pictures of Min-Ji? So that's exactly what I did. :)

I love this girlie so much. I actually just went back to the flea market I found her in, but I didn't buy anything. Anyway, I love the bokeh in this picture! Also for some reason you can see all her flyaways in all these photos? That's really annoying.

Of course, since Min-Ji is Min-Ji, I put her in the Wasteland, Baby! shirt I made a while back. I listened to the entire Wasteland, Baby! album while working on these photos. This one was taken by a retention pond wall. At one point, "As It Was" came on and I felt very inspired.

This picture would be so cute if she was framed better. I was trying to be quick because it was windy and she kept falling.

I really like this hairstyle on her. I feel like I should do a Min-Ji hairstyle compilation because I've done her hair in several styles. Also, I don't know about everyone else who has Pleasant Company dolls with the thick pie bangs, but it's kinda hard to style hair with bangs that thick sometimes!

Woah, E managing to pull off a full-body shot??? I don't hate it. She was standing on one of those electrical boxes that say "high voltage" and I feel like I shouldn't play around those but they were in a playground so it's probably fine, right?

Believe it or not, it was so hot taking these pictures. It was like 65 degrees and humid, which is equal to warm spring weather here... I went outside in a black shirt, jeans, UGG boots, and my warmest cardigan, alas my bedroom was colder than the temperature outside. Point is, Min-Ji would have been hot in that flannel. Also I love how you can tell the wind is blowing slightly in this picture. And yes, you can tell the leaves are still green in this spot. It's been a weird autumn, y'all.

There's a single hair in her face that my camera somehow managed to pick up. Grr.

Side profile!! Also it's like 2 AM as I'm writing this and it just started raining and I'm scared of storms so that's fun.

No comments on this one.

Another full-body?! Let's go, E! I love the red socks she's wearing. It adds contrast to her outfit.

I have nothing to say other than that I'm resisting the urge to quote a Hozier song. (Is there anything new?)

I have a love hate relationship with how she's standing in this one. She's cute though,

That bokeh is top-tier.

Thissssss!!!!!!

Even better, this one with the little light spot on her face! I may have gone harder on my editing with this one. Oh well. It's my favorite. :)

It's giving "In A Week." Which isn't on Wasteland, Baby! and is a weird song but yknow. It's kind of a guilty pleasure Hozier song for me and I like this photo so it works out.

And last but not least! This one has a really dreamy quality I love!

And that's all for now! I need to go (back) to sleep now. Have a great week and remember to eat your veggies! Bye! <3

  1. The rushing through photos because it’s too windy is SO real to me! And I feel your pain, I don’t remember the last time I was able to pull off a full body shot either 😭. These turned out so cute!!!

  2. These pictures are so cute! <3 I can definitely relate to having AG dolls with super thick bangs, they get in the way so much! But are also just so adorable so I guess I can't complain too much, lol

    1. Thank you, Hailey!
I love dolls with bangs... limited hairstyles is a sacrifice I can gladly make lol

  3. These photos are gorgeous! Of course, Min-Ji is gorgeous, so I shouldn't be surprised. Anyway, I loved how you kept referencing Hozier. What would a toy blogger be without her obsession with an Irish singer? (totally not referring to myself too...) :)
I'm not sure I like how early it gets dark either! I love the nighttime, but I don't want to do much of anything after 5pm xD.
