Love at Frost Sight (get it?) ~ A Photoshoot

Hey, guys! You know, a wise man once said, "What is snow, but the sand of the winter?" Kidding, there was no wise man that said that, it was me. I dislike being cold about as much as I hate sand, but my area doesn't get snow very often. We recently got a TON of snow, so I braved the cold to take some pictures. I don't really know how to take snow pictures so I'm not super happy with the fact that these aren't very original, but alas. It's Min-Ji so we're not complaining. Let's get into it.

I got the Rose Fair Isle Sweater for Christmas. I think it's super cute on Min-Ji.

Here you can see how the snow ate her feet. It was a lot deeper than that. (I wanna say maybe 6 inches? That's how much snow we were supposed to get.)

I didn't feel like walking anywhere in the cold so I took these in my backyard. In some of them, you can see snowflakes because it was (and still is) actively snowing!

I like this photo a lot. I tried to be quick in this photoshoot because I don't actually have any winter clothes. Look, I wear a school uniform and it's been in the 50's up until now, okay?? Don't judge. Also yes, I live in the southern US and we have humid cold. Cold air sticks to your skin and I just absolutely hate it.

Min-Ji's cute as always, no comments.

This might be my favorite photo. I'm honestly still trying to figure out how to get the results I want from my camera, but that's what practice is for, right?

I thought I hated this one, but it's not so bad. I feel so critical of these photos, but that can be good. It inspires me to work harder.

I love that you can see the snowflakes.

I honestly have no idea what to say here lol.

That's all for now. I just wanted to pop in with these photos since I have another post planned for Monday. Have a great weekend and remember to eat your veggies! Bye! <3

  1. Those are so pretty! Everything just immediately turned to slush where I am, so I haven't been able to get any good snow pictures despite it snowing with obnoxious frequency. That sweater looks so good on Min-Ji but what doesn't, really?

    1. Aw man, the only fun part of the cold is when it snows so slush sounds gross.
True, I have yet to find something that doesn't look good on her!
      Thank you so much! <3

  2. These are so pretty! Snow always photographs so beautifully, even if it is kinda hard to work with. Also, Min-Ji's sweater is so, so, so cute <3

    1. Thank you! I always try to take advantage of snow and take pictures... maybe one day we'll get it down to a science. 😅

  3. These photos are so pretty! I also got a little snow where I live (i.e. a few snowflakes that barely stuck to the ground and it's gone now😅)Min-Ji is so cute! Thank you for braving the snow to get these pretty pictures!

    1. That's usually how it is for us! I could count on one hand how many times we've gotten more than an inch of snow.
I sacrificed my UGG boots for this photoshoot, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make. 🫡 (The boots are fine, they've seen worse. 😂)
      Thank you so much!

    1. Ahh, I know right?? She actually fell down and got a bunch of snow in her hair and I was like, "Wait... this is cute."
      Thank you, Reesa!
