Cecile In The Cold ~ A Mini Photoshoot
Hey guys! Honestly, I wasn't going to post these photos, but after the crazy I had to go through on this photoshoot, I decided I should. I risked my life for these. *No I did not, I'm being dramatic.* I'll get to the story in a minute... but yeah. Let's get into it!
I realized I had never really done a photoshoot with Cecile, so I took her down to my neighborhood park to take these. This photo is my least favorite, and while this isn't the most creative photoshoot, I thought they all turned out pretty good. You can see her one curl that doesn't like to curl. Her hair is in great shape otherwise, but it's just a little dry and it drives me crazy.
It was 31 degrees (farenheit) outside (-1 degrees celsius ðŸ˜) when I took these. I had to walk all the way down to the park, and it was COLD! That's why I only took a few. I decided I did not want to be outside taking pictures when it was so cold. Also, I was wearing pajama pants, a hoodie, and a coat which was NOT adequate. Sadly those are the warmest things I own. (Listen... I wear a school uniform. I have neglected to own a wardrobe outside of my school clothes.)
This one I actually like a lot! The bokeh is always pretty. I wanted to experiment more, but it was COLD. And the ground was muddy.
So, storytime... As I was packing up my stuff to go home, I heard screeching tires. When I looked up, there was a marked police car parked on the road in front of the park. I was right in the line of sight of the car, so I felt like there was no way the officer wasn't watching me. It was weird. Maybe I looked a little suspicious: I was a lone teenager wearing pajama pants and walking around with a backpack. "Oh no, officer, it's not spray paint in this backpack, it's an expensive camera and I was taking pictures of a children's toy!" just sounds like a terrible alibi when you're wearing pajamas and walking around in freezing temperatures in broad daylight. Anyway, I left immediately. It was definitely the strangest thing that's happened to me on a photoshoot.
Shoe pictures, because of course. I kinda love how my camera decided to focus on the rock instead of her feet.
This is for sure my favorite photo from this (short) photoshoot!
So yeah, that's all for now! I'll be back soon with another post, but for now, have a great week and remember to eat your veggies! Bye! <3
The one curl that won't curl is painfully relatable. I applaud your bravery for walking to the park! I remember I took Fatima to the beach once, and there were a lot of people there and that was a funny day... the comments were interesting 😂. I was by myself that day but usually if I take doll pictures anywhere besides my house I make my brother come with me, idk why but his presence makes me feel better.
ReplyDelete*me still casually waiting for your remake of the Tattoo photo story*
No literally because I have wavy/curly hair and I deal with curls that don't want to curl constantly.
DeleteNormally if I'm going somewhere that's not within walking distance of my house, I take my mom. 😅 I get anxious in places that have a lot of people so I definitely think having someone to go with you helps. I really don't get many comments about my dolls though which surprises me considering I've taken them to some strange places.
Girl, Imma be real, my creativity levels have been at an all-time low lately but the tattoo photostory is at the top of my list rn (I also forgot about it for a hot sec but that's not something we're gonna talk about)
