Courtney

Courtney Deborah Moore

Whenever rumors of a 1980s doll started circulating, my whole family got excited. Courtney's release will always be such a fun memory, because I don't think I've ever been as hyped for a doll as I was for Courtney. She released a little less than a month before my birthday, but my aunt gave her to me as an early birthday present a few weeks before my birthday. For my official celebration, my mom and I took a trip to the Dallas AG store, where I picked out a ton of her collection. To this day, I own a pretty good chunk of Courtney's collection, including her Pac-Man arcade machine. She's so special to me, and definitely one of my favorite of my own characters to write about.

Lore and Personality

Courtney is the definition of chaos and snark. She's a passionate gamer who enjoys both current and vintage video games, and can often be found at the arcade with her friends Molly, Logan, and sometimes Stella. She has an affinity for anything from the 1980s, but is also a total computer science nerd and has a fascination with modern technology. Her big ideas don't always land her in the best situations, but at least she has her friends to help her out. Courtney is 15 and in 10th grade, and is on the Piney Grove School of the Arts robotics team, where she's the lead code writer. While her relationship with the other team members is mostly good, Courtney is the known frenemy of Maryellen Larkin.
