Questions
What is your favorite Christmas family tradition?
My favorite tradition is probably putting on a Christmas play with my theatre group. I know that no one in my theatre group is apart of our family, but it’s still a family tradition because my family can’t stand all the practicing I do to get ready. Plus, they all have to go to the play when we perform it.
Don’t get me started on your plays, Cécile! If I have to sit through another three hour performance, I’m going to explode!
Don’t worry. It’s only 2 hours and 45 minutes long this year.
This is actually my first Christmas in the dollhouse, but I love all the baking that’s going on. I get to eat all the cookies that Grace and Blaire make.
Oh jeez, Logan. You didn’t eat all the cookies they made last night, did you?
Totally not…
My favorite tradition is the Christmas party we put on every year. Even though it’s just the regular dollhouse residents at the party, we get to stay up late and it’s really fun.
Favorite Christmas food/drink?
My absolute favorite is bûche de Noël, you may have heard it called a ‘Yule log’ before. Just wait, Logan. You’re going to love it too.
I love all food—-
It’s true! Logan would eat a tire if I told him it were edible!
*Glares at Molly* I would not. Anyway, what I was going to say was, I love all food, especially holiday foods. In fact, I think Grace and Blaire are baking something right now…
MY favorite holiday food is the sugar cookies that Grace makes from her American Girl cookbook. However, I think SOMEONE ate them already. *Glares at Logan*
Can y’all cut out the glaring?
Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Why or why not?
Yes. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. Everything is just so festive and it makes me so happy!
Yup. Christmas is the best. The food is the best, too.
I agree with Céce. Everything is so festive!
What is your favorite Christmas song?
That’s actually a tough question. I think I’d have to say Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy or Carol of the Bells. I just like how they sound kind of spooky and give me lots of ideas for my theatre group.
You like them because they’re SPOOKY?! You’re something else, Cécile.
Christmas songs are kinda slow in my opinion. I like songs that I can play on my drums! But, Elvis is pretty awesome so I’ll say Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley.
I personally like parody Christmas songs! I make a lot of my own. Like, one time I replaced ‘Jolly’ in Deck the Halls with my name! It was really fun!
What is your favorite Christmas activity?
Well, I’d definitely have to say putting on my Christmas plays. My theatre group works so hard and we have so much fun!
Logan, you better not say eating.
I was going to say eating all the desserts, but I like having snowball fights, too. It’s too bad we don’t get much snow here, otherwise you wouldn’t stand a chance, Molly.
Yeah right. My favorite activity is probably opening presents, watching Christmas movies, or causing reckless destruction with snow-based activities.
Causing what?
Just kidding… Mostly…
What is your favorite Christmas memory?
I’d honestly have to say my favorite Christmas memory is actually the Christmas I arrived at the dollhouse. I know I’ve lived here forever now, but you guys are so sweet. I just felt like I instantly fit in.
I arrived at the dollhouse on Christmas just like Cécile, but this is my first Christmas actually apart of the Just Dolling family. I guess I’m making memories. The other day, Courtney and I made a Christmas themed Minecraft world and I think that’s going to be something I remember for a while.
Ohmahgosh, you two. I’m gonna cry. I don’t have any sweet Christmas memories like you two do. I guess I remember the year Nellie arrived the best because that was my first Christmas here, but nothing emotionally heartbreaking like your memories.
What is your most favorite Christmas gift you have ever got?
My parlor outfit! I got it for Christmas last year, I think I’ve pretty much been wearing it ever since. I really love history, so I love that it’s historically accurate to the 1850s.
Wait, I was a Christmas present, so I haven’t really received any presents before. I guess I would have to say my drum set though, because it came with me and it’s my most prized possession.
Ohmahgosh, I’ve never gotten any cool presents like you guys. I’m so neglected.
What about the dress you’re wearing right now? Or your camp outfit? Or your dog? You’re not neglected- we literally have so much of your stuff.
Oh yeah…
What is your favorite part of Christmas day?
I mean, we don’t do much on Christmas except for opening presents, so I guess that would have to be my favorite part.
I don’t really know what my favorite part of Christmas is yet.
Even if we did stuff other than open presents, opening presents would still be my favorite part.
What is your favorite ham or turkey for Christmas dinner?
Hmm… both are delicious. A good ham is hard to beat, though.
Do people actually eat ham and turkey on Christmas?! That sounds like thanksgiving to me. Not that I’m against it, of course…
I like turkey! It’s much better for making jokes. Gobble, Gobble!
What is your favorite Christmas story?
