Molly Jean McIntire

    When my mom and I learned that there was a resale market for American Girl dolls, two of the dolls I discovered and fell in love with were Molly and Nellie. Molly had retired the year I got Marie-Grace, so I had probably never seen her before. In November of 2018, my dad told me that he had found an AG doll on Craigslist, and when he showed me, I couldn't believe it---it was Molly, and for $30! So of course, I had to buy her. Molly was my first secondhand doll, as well as my first Pleasant Company doll, and was likely made in 1996. She actually has a body tag, which is somewhat uncommon for Pleasant Company dolls, and it's the "Made in Germany" version. Alongside the other firsts, Molly was my first new addition after starting Just Dolling. She has definitely been a treasured doll for me for a long time! 

Lore and Personality

    Molly is one of the most carefree people you'll meet. She's colorful and chaotic, and doesn't mind getting into occasional trouble. Her best friends are Courtney, Logan, and Stella, if that tells you anything. Molly enjoys learning about things that interest her, like spy history. She's 15 and in 10th grade.
